Who is Indra?

Indra actually refers to a Hindu god, named Indra. Indra was the the "god of gods", so to speak, and was lord of heaven, or Svargaloka, as the Hindus call it.

Indra was a hero and saved the people from Vrita. Vrita had kept the water from the people by blocking the rivers. Vrita was slain by Indra to restore water to the people.

Great, so why Indra again?

In the Huayan school of Buddhism, Indra's net was a metaphor for the emptiness of all things. It also was a sympbol for interpenetration. This was also referred to as Indra's jewels, or Indra's pearls.

This idea of interpenetration is the idea that all things are connected to all other things. Indra's net itself is depicted as a net with a jewel at each vertex that is reflected in every other jewel.

When I first began researching the Law of Attraction for myself, I stumbled upon its connections with Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. Since the Law of Attraction alludes to the fact that all people are connected, because they are all made up of energy, I found Indra's net to be very intriguing.

So if everybody, and everything is ultimately made up of the same exact thing (energy), then everbody and everything are all connected. So a lot of research as to why the Law of Attraction works shows that we all are connected, and I found it very interesting that this same idea has been around for centuries and it seems we are just beginning to uncover the full truth of that with science today.

Cool, so what are you all about here?

This site was started to help anyone who feels overwhelmed at the idea of the Law of Attraction, or who just wants to go further into the rabbit hole and doesn't know where to look.

I have been digging around for some time now, and I've put together a collection of what I personally see as the best ways to explore, learn and grow.

The Law of Attraction is a bit of a controversial idea, but I challenge anyone skeptical to have an open mind and go into some of these programs with the intent to change your life. You might just be pleasantly surprised. What could it hurt?

That's great, now who are you?

My name is Drew Kroft, and I have set up this website to help other people understand Law of Attraction. I live in upstate New York, USA. I coach a local high school rowing team, and have picked up studying Law of Attraction as a hobby sort of?

I have learned over the years that the best way to learn something very well is to try to teach it. I had a little bit of a background in creating websites, so I figured, why not make a website to teach Law of Attraction, and in doing so I could learn about Law of Attraction from it.

In case you're wondering about my coaching, I started when I was 18 years old, I'm now 25. I love the sport of rowing, and I love coaching it even mroe. I like to think I'm pretty good at it as well. I have had some very good success coaching rowing at the state, national, and even more recently, international levels. My most recent success was this past summer one of my rowers competed in France in the Junior World Rowing Championships.

Coaching is really my number one passion in life, for the reason that I think sports end up being a huge part of kids lives. Being on a sports team, especially one so devoted to the team aspect as rowing, is really a great way for kids to learn to grow as individuals, and as a group. I know for me, and many people that I know shared the same experience, my rowing coaches from high school and college were some of the most influential people in my life. I like to be in a position where I can have a positive impact on people.

Some of my other hobbies are; rowing, fencing, hiking, reading, rock climbing and easter egg hunts. Okay, so easter egg hunts really aren't a hobby so much, but they're still fun.

I posted a couple of pictures of myself to right doing a couple things I enjoy. I enjoy general strategy games, though I'm not great at most of them, especially checkers. (I'm actually better at chess, if that's possible). This was a picture taken of me enjoying a weeks vacation in the Outter Banks, North Carolina. Below that I'm getting towards the top of a rock climbing route in Little Falls, New York.

I dressed up this Halloween as Alfalfa, from "The LIttle Rascals". I actually had to grow my hair out for about 2 months to do so, but it was well worth it (though my girlfriend may disagree).

Hopefully this tells you enough about who I am. I also hope that everyone finds their way around the site alright and finds some useful information. Please don't hesitate to E-mail me if you have any questions! IndraLOA@gmail.com. I would also be interested in hearing a little about yourselves, and what Law of Attraction has done for you.
